The Crack in the Ceiling (by James Harvey), a darkly comedic musical about a single mother, her son, and their kitchen ceiling. The show was presented at the New York Musical Theatre Festival and the New York International Fringe Festival, where it received the award for Overall Excellence in a Musical. Nicky and others joined in on a song parody that could be taught to children to teach them about DC statehood.
Nicky has been nominated for a Kelsey Award as "Outstanding Young Performer" for his work portraying Winthrop Paroo in The Music Man at the Kelsey Theater!

The show features all the big numbers from the movie that you remember by the Sherman Brothers such as “Spoonful of Sugar” and “Chim Chim Cher-ee” and then adds additional material by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe to flesh out the movie score.
